A New Year's Eve Prayer for My Homies

Father, I pray that not only tomorrow but in all days, we acknowledge the ability to start anew. I pray that individually, we make a decision to love with abandon, that we doggedly seek and offer forgiveness and in each relentless move toward our greater purpose, we propel this world toward healing. I pray that we all look in the mirror today and start to love and forgive there.  The past is done.  May this time come with a sense of renewal and refreshment. May it come with the knowledge that habits can change, that hope is eternal and blessings abound, even in our darkest hours.  I pray that 2015 is a year where pulses quicken with new passion and purpose, with daily wins and CELEBRATION!  Father, be with us, our nation and the world. In Jesus' name, amen.
