A Prayer for You Today

As I read through all the hurt in the threads today, I offer a prayer...

Father, Your children are weary today. In this world, we are doing our best to move through seasons of death, addiction, depression, disease and stress. There is so much PRESSURE on these earthly bodies. Lord, we lift up every need today, spoken and unspoken, done in the darkness and revealed in the light, in front and behind. We put them at the foot of Your throne, Father, because You are a God big enough to handle our burdens and You are a God who tells us not to worry. Help us in our worry and the wringing of our hands. Don't let us waste one tear. Make them all count. Father, I pray a special blessing over the hurting today, that You are waiting to meet us in each moment with new hope, provision, wisdom and blessing. Holy Spirit, give us words of comfort to speak to one another and hands to serve, that we know You in the flesh. Help us in this time of need, Jesus, and offer a personal touch of Your presence so hearts are settled and supernatural peace may prevail. Lord, it's in Your son Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
