Day 12 - Draw the Circle - Sow the Seed

Theme:  If we do little things like they are big things, God will do big things like they are little things.

If we are to plant seeds in other people, it is God who first plants the seed in us.

When I get ready to write, I ask God for the first sentence so I have a place to start.  I know that in order for me to have anything to say, God has to provide the voice, the inspiration, the topic, the history, the sequence, the wisdom, the courage...oh, it's a wonder a single word is typed.   He plants these seeds in all of us, not just for the thing it was created to grow but because seeds make more seeds.  Hopefully, as you read these words you will be inspired to tell your own story so that it too becomes a ministry.  Maybe you will do something courageous and know you are brave.  Be encouraged by the knowledge that even our closeted demons can be replaced by angels and saints when the door is opened to the knocking of Jesus Christ.  Seeds make more seeds.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Fight to be fertile ground even when the world conspires to create a barren wasteland.

NOW TALK TO GOD...
Lord, thank you for seeing something in me worth saving, that you would see something in me worth cultivating.  Lord, don't let it die in me.  When I feel hopeless, when I feel You are far from me, when I wonder if my faith is real...help me to press on. Help me not to give up or give in.   Whatever is good in me, may it bear fruit worthy of Your calling. In Jesus' name, amen.
