Eliminating Debt One Family at a Time

During the 8 months that Mark was unemployed many people said, "I don't know how you're doing it" and I'd tell them the same thing, "Our only debt is our mortgage." It's not a small thing but imagine if we'd had 1 or 2 car payments or thousands of dollars in credit card debt on top of that! We didn't collect a dime of unemployment and much of the time we lived off our savings. We prayed and God provided in miraculous and unexpected ways. The way our nation recovers financially begins IN THE HOME. Give yourself permission to do without. Save up. Make it a priority to pay off your debt so you can stop being a slave to your debtor! I pray that you never have to know the sting of unemployment but know that you CAN survive. We may not have the latest and greatest but we DO have faith and peace...and those are priceless.
